Finally, get Duangrat's delivered via Grub Hub!

Finally, get Duangrat's delivered!

One of the keys to Duangrat's longevity is that we are decidedly "old school" and believe in the adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"!  But don't get us wrong; we do continually strive to maintain, improve and add value for our customers.

After long and careful consideration, we have decided to partner with Grub Hub, a third-party delivery service.  We chose Grub Hub as it is also a pioneer in its industry.  Started in 2004, it was the first online delivery service of its kind and is very well established.

Furthermore, Grub Hub is the only restaurant delivery service that is partnered with Amazon Prime, which means that if you are an Amazon Prime member, you also get Grub Hub+ free for a year (an enhanced service tier that is otherwise a paid membership).

If you are an Amazon Prime member, click here for more info and to link Grub Hub+ service:  https://www.amazon.com/prime/offer/grubhub/prime-deal

Note that anyone can use Grub Hub, even if you are not an Amazon Prime member.  Simply click on the DELIVERY tab and you will be prompted to register with Grub Hub if you are a first-time user, to complete your order.

For the sake of transparency, Grub Hub does charge a small fee for the convenience of its delivery service.  There is also a modest mark-up of the menu price (~10%) to partially offset the commission Grub Hub charges the restaurant.

To start your delivery online, click on the top right DELIVERY tab or if using your phone, scan this QR code:

50 Most Influential DC Restaurants of the Last Century!

50 Most Influential DC Restaurants of the Last Century

Washingtonian Magazine September 2020

Ann Limpert writes:

"This Baileys Crossroads dining room was one of the first restaurants in the suburbs to offer an affordable menu and a date-night atmosphere (servers in silk dresses, a Trumpian amount of gilt). It went beyond Americanized Thai staples, and its success helped spur the Thai-restaurant boom in the 1990s".

Thank you Washingtonian Magazine, Ann Limpert, our loyal patrons and dedicated staff for supporting us for over 3 decades, through thick & thin!  What an honor it is to be named amongst DC's esteemed institutions!

“One Night in Bangkok” is a fun, casual, whimsical and immersive Thai dining experience.  The cafĂ©'s retro vibe is a throwback to my vivid recollections of the sights, sounds, smells and flavors of Thai street food, night markets and nightlife as seen thru the lens of my teenage-self for the first time, in the '80's.  This coming-of-age moment left a life-long lasting impression on me.  I can't wait to transport you back to Thailand with me and share "One Night in Bangkok"!

Cheers,

Eddie Duangrat
